Solved: My Computer Locks Up
I tried to launch the task manager and the enter system locked up. with both suggested links, Malaware and then AntiS ,followed by CCleaner.... Move to Firefox until Chrome fixes the problem. My Dell laptop computer will turn on, but the screen stays black. have a peek here

i installed chrome on it and it did the same thing. I used this guide I went into my bios settings and found that the hard drives were in IDE mode instead of ACHI mode.
