I saw an eMachines at Office Depot for a really good price, so I convinced my dad to buy it for me. I just bought an 8 port Telesyn switch for £79 (about $115) it died after two months, the replacement they sent me didn't work from day one. Don't buy an e-machine unless you expect to upgrade the ram right away. i just dont know if theres anything propriatary about teh drive.

Nothing, you can't do a damn thing except live with it and just never buy from them again. Got an atx tester for power supply and found out it was bad. Just dont open many windows or try to do too many things at the same time when you are on line (Dont crowd your RAM that all).
