Thank you. I'm running the Win7 Enterprise Trial right now, and it seems that for all the Win7 releases so far, the easiest way to get Office to work again is to rename I graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2002 with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/924611/how-to-install-the-individual-2007-office-features-or-to-repair-the-installed-2007-office-programs Rename the SETUP.EXE to NOSETUP.EXE (or whatever).

I've tried literally everything on this list multiple times, and still stuck at "Something went wrong" almost as soon as I double-click the installer. Lastly, you can try to actually rename the installation file you downloaded. If you perform a clean install on the first attempt, you will have to start over from an activated Windows 7 or Windows 8.x installation. For example, home version to home version; enterprise version to enterprise version.

If you are prompted to enter a product key, click Do this later and give it a few days, Windows 10 will activate automatically. My laptop does not give me the opportunity to have a start screen or able to get out of this loop.
