But that would be weird. You can also try commenting those out. So if you have this issue try lowering your aperture size and see if that helps. check over here Gdm starts up but when I choose to log in as me the screen settings change to something that the monitor cannot handle.

I don't know if your distro is ubuntu at all or if the driver is exclusive to ubuntu or not. Post # 38 tells how to manually edit you Xorg.conf file. I currently have it set to 1280x960 because it stretches 1280x1024 to fit the screen horizontally but scrolls vertically to follow the mouse. I learned something more about SLI so my time wasn't wasted.
SInce the card worked - showing some type of screen - from what I read I thought it was a driver issue.
