Solved: Nvidia Geforce FX5200 Problem

Should I uninstall the Raedon 9250 to see if the GeForce FX 5200 will work?? Yeah i think my uncle may have a DP to Vga spare that i could run over to his place and get Yeah it's a 12V power source on the card I doubt that the FX5200 has WDDM drivers of any flavor. I've tried appending acpi=off pci=nommconfat the end of the GRUB boot command but with no success.

You can also try commenting those out. I can set it to a nice 1280 x 800 which looks pretty good on my 19" monitor. Edit: I decided to comment out the explicit resolutions listed in my xorg.conf just to see what the nvidia driver would choose automatically. You really did want to run a second card. It's version 96.43.01. Use the device manager to install if needed, while pointing it to the extracted folder from the downloaded driver.
I always let the nvidia driver configure xorg.conf and it works for me on my Gforce 6200 card. The nVIDIA Control Panel stops responding after selecting Dualview mode. But when return BIOS to auto detect or explicitly use thenVidia card it falls over during boot. Keep it coming.

Also, try only leaving 1680x1050 in the "Display" section.
