I had the same problem but I followed your steps and successfully installed Windows 10 and installed the latest graphic driver and now I'm running Win 10 without any problem.Thanks a If your display was previously using one of these two resolutions, you should be fine. Ivan 6 January, 2016 Reply I upgraded to Win 10 on older PCs, so there is hope 😃.The solution here was to run the following command in an administrative command line Well the Title pretty much sums it up. Check with the manufacturer for support.In order to solve this, you need to do a manual upgrade using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool. Not a system techie but followed your instructions and it worked like a charm. It worked perfectly for me - installed Windows 10 using a USB stick, then downloaded the NVIDIA drivers. Then reboot and install the following Nvidia 301.42 driver.
I appreciate the directions you gave, but more than that I appreciate the links that you provided! The GPU is a GeForce Go 6150 and I see it listed as a working driver, but I haven't been able to make it work (the installers say they can't find It does pretty much the same thing. Force video cards. However, after upgrading I am stuck with the Basic Display Adapter because I can't install the nvidia driver using the package. Here you can download this tool: Media Creation Tool (32-bit) Media Creation Tool (64-bit) Then, follow the tool instructions to upgrade to Windows 10. Showing results for Search instead for Do you mean Go to... The driver 309.08 worked for me on Windows 10. Will soon test, at least to give it a try.
