Solved: No Restore
Nice one. same deal for Windows 7. SO-why would one restore point use over 7 gigs? Both are System Image Restore Points that were created when I was experimenting with the Windows 7 Recovery backup tool in Windows 8.
I tried typing in "VSSADMIN LIST SHADOWSTORAGE" and it says 'No items found that satisfy the query"... System Restore will automatically resume service once at least 200 MB of free disk space is available on the system drive.' So System Restore stops working, because all free space is You won't regret it...Sarah put me on to a fair while ago now and it's been very reliable and second nature to use. restore to see if I had 1 or 2 restore points,(2 is the most I ever have), I had 1 and it-according to vssadmin-was using 7.216 GB of space on C:\. Reboot Then Do a Wipe free space with CCleaner.
