Now save your settings and reboot, and you should be all set. Looks like a common issue. Should be about the same.
My guess is that this is the issue and not the board. Confused the heck out of me - and many others based on what I read in their support forum! I even had one motherboard that had boot drive problems until I put in a precise combination of RAM modules (sizes and brands), and then it worked fine for 4 years. Now, I know plenty of people who do it, but crikey… The shenanigans they go through to perfectly tweak their system are something I'm just not willing to spend time on.

The prob now is which Asus board seems the best, the newer one (Asus M2N-X Plus) which supports amd+ & faster ram, but an older chipset. I have set ignore for boot from network and boot from storage device in the CSM settings too.
