Solved: New 1600x900 Monitor Won't Show Full Screen
I then exited the game, and ticked 'Borderless' again. I am finding that I cannot use apps like Adobe Audition at all. Eventually BioShock and Crysis had this same relapse when I exited and entered Full-Screen in those games. That's FOUR of my 1600x900 ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch screens. navigate here
IE works great. Most bizarrely, if I changed the resolution from a 16:9/16:10 aspect ratio (1280x720/1280x800 and similar) to a 16:8.99556 aspect ratio (1366x768), the games scale properly. External Monitor Different Resolution Than Laptop

Edit 2: Also, you could try to download a cracked version, sometimes steam does more harm than good, but that is up to you and your code of ethics, I will
I've resigned myself to running the laptop in 1080p mode - especially in a multi-monitor setup - because at the end of the day the higher DPI added very little value. I've changed a few settings on my 1080p Surface 2 in order to take better advantage of High-DPI and run a more apps simultaneously, in fact. It has been a really...really.... Any ideas about this? Nvidia Apparently it makes the text 720 and the rest at 1080.... It also has about the nicest screen I've ever seen on a Windows Laptop. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2937018/monitor-system-display-full-screen.html This change caused the scaling problem to return in AC1.
I've tried launching from the game's exe but it still brings up the launcher, causing the problem. Well, since then, I had to send my laptop in to get it fixed (wouldn't boot). It won't start at all in full-screen mode, and it will run in windowed mode but I can't see it! It didn't have to re-download anything, but when I booted the game up it completed the installation again, quickly, and I can now fullscreen at any resolution.
TLDR; 1) Update your graphic drivers 2) Open the Fallout4 Launcher, run the game in Windowed mode 3) Drag the window to the top left corner of your screen 4) Close permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]reddit-user01 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago(0 children)I think this is the only viable solution, for you guys, for the time being; to reduce the native monitor resolution to match the External Monitor Different Resolution Than Laptop Care to share the monitor model majstevenson007? It doesn't matter, you get dual monitors running whether you are on one card or one monitor on each.
Before I ran Parallels and no screen issues. check over here Don't get one with fans, they are cheap and fail... It snaps back to windowed mode... I keep the Display control panel applet on my desktop so I can easily switch back to 100% when opening one of those apps.Joe BrinkmanFriday, 31 January 2014 16:02:10 UTCThanks for

Here's what's up: The game has been working fine for the past week. As soon as I changed this I could open it in full screen. This setting exists in windows 8.1 as well and I recall having problems with it in the past.
It worked for me!
The default is smart about the size of your screen and DPI and always tries to get the fonts looking the right size. EDIT: SOLVED!!!: Steps: http://imgur.com/a/99j3D (because I know the sadness of tearing your hair out over something as simple as fullscreening a program u/bigwillyb123 ) Edit 2: Also, some people are going That's it people. However, I can only use it because my muscle-memory for the dialogs is so good I don't need to read them any more.
But it could be something else. Nothing works, and I'm getting upset. And you will also, it's 3 megs. weblink Windows has that non-option too.2) Get a third-party utility like TinkerTool and fix 9 different system font sizes (title bar font, etc).
I've tried everything else. But when this happens there is no pop up saying "___ has stopped working". shop.lenovo.com/NL/en/laptops/thinkpad/x-series/x1-carbon/JP HellemonsWednesday, 15 January 2014 08:53:36 UTCI agree with Sahil Malik, the Windows approach is inferior to OS X scaling. What's strange is, I was also playing a nexon game... (Combat arms) Must have something to do with nexon games.
