Solved: Nero Wont Make Multisessions

Patrick G Whittingham, Stouffville, Ontario , Canada This isn't a problem, it's a big THANKS! I BOW-DOWN TO THE MASTERS. When I came to finalise the disk in my recorder last week the machine broke down during the finalise. IsoBuster retrieved every file quickly and easily with the minimum of input by me. this contact form

I will say I was skeptical about the product at first but I have no problems in saying "ISOBuster WORKS!!!" and if you need to recover a DVD or CD, stop Today, when backing up to a DVD-ROM disk, for the first time, Nero displayed the following message: You are about to create a multisession write once DVD disc. I should have picked it from the unimportant updates in the Microsoft Update console - but I've learned never to use those new drivers unless need be. IsoBuster recovers data from CD, DVD, BD, HDD, Flash drive, USB stick, media card, Compact CF, MMC, SD, Diskette, SSD and more via NTFS, UDF, FAT, HFS, ISO, IFO / VOB

You have read a post from a newbie. And I don't expect Nero to give me any more or better features than K3B does. If Ronnie was using Roxio, I had a similar problem with my MACbook Pro using Roxio Toast 10. I will recommend this program to everyone and post on my facebook.

Such a good Shareware! It found the data within seconds and I was able to extract the .VOB files and reconstruct the DVD. Today I downloaded your software, located the instructions and EASILY recovered the DVD. But now thanks to ISOBuster I have every single disc back and there all readable again. I thought I was smart, having backed up all of my document files to DVD and I even verified that the discs worked in my dvd drive. Mark Peterson, Peterson Aerial Photography Inc., Minnetonka, MN, USA I'd just like to express my gratitude for this excellent product. In any event, today, for the first time, I had a number of folders that I decided to backup to DVD-ROM disks because their contents would never change.

Chris Martin, Mt. Select the disc or drive that is the problem and see what IsoBuster finds. And once again it save months of work on a DVD I was making. The only fault I can see so far is that it's Burner>Disk Information command doesn't list state the file system(s) found on the disk nor the size of the individual sessions.

Hopefully my new Plextor will be more reliable! Flag Permalink This was helpful (3) Collapse - YES! Months of scans and hundreds, maybe thousands of hand scanned documents. Now I'll do some try-and-fail so K3B stops duplicating files (8.3 names in new session) and shortening names, despite my saved preferences.

You can't go wrong for the price of the program. weblink It said it estimated the burn time would be about 4.2 minutes which I figured was reasonable if it was indeed burning at 4 times the speed that it had used I know this sounds rediculously obvious, but I remember having trouble getting all my data recorded because I walked away from my computer and the screen saver went on and stopped Read #8 from THX 1138 as there is some good information there for the future.Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks Report • #12 bonniecunbria April 19,

I think it is irresponsible of Apple not to address this issue once and for all. This seems more likely. In the disc properties it says it is full but shows zero bytes. It likely interferes with Apple's hegemony (or monopoly) take your pick. I have both CD-R and DVD+R.

I always pick a different brand - providing I have tried solving the problem by fully updating the third party program already resident on the machine. Is it possible that for some reason this DVD-ROM had a larger capacity than the DVD-RW? Then, shut down and reattach the cables. Thank you.

Now everything works fine - with the new drive. Maybe it'll now be the "DMA disabled" thing it complains about, but K3B can live perfectly with that, so I stick to K3B. it might be better to look for a more modern, frequently-updated program, such as BurnAware, CDBurnerXP, ImgBurn, ISO Workshop, PowerISO and so forth.Goretsky -- Thanks **very** much for this excellent response! his comment is here Comparison to Windows 7 Built-In?
