I think what did it was the power down of the router and the ipconig /flushdns thanks again! I can see all computers in the network from workstations but can not access server! (Only 3 computers on the network) On the server, I cannot see the other 2 computers! Let me know if you come across any solutions. I have one computer on my network that is unable to browse any other hosts in the workgroup. The workstation could see the server ok, and worked normally, but I could not do remote installs to it (eg Trend CSSA). They are both under workgroup called workgroup and IP and DNS are set to auto. disable it then check that network PC's are showing or not. you can try this out
