I looked at the device manager, it says the network adapter is working properly. I have a Toshiba Satellite running Windows Vista Home Premium. I have comcast internet, linksys router, all other computers connect just fine. Anyway, it's all sorted now and I'm so grateful I had to leave a comment. Such a simple fix for something I banged my head against the wall about for hours the first time! Hmmm… I don't know what to do either! no errors listed on the device manager.
I switched my internet provider recently and got a new router, and the wireless connection worked fine for a couple of weeks on two laptops. When you open Manage network connections you should see an icon for your adapter.
