There is a v5 printed next to model #.I started with a similar model without wireless, also last year, and when I moved to triple play, comcast changed to wireless modems m using windows xp service pack 2. the issue is here is this device runs a custom Comcast firmware and that firmware is know to have many issues, many related to wireless, some not. I was using the netgear wizard.
